YOLANDA SAMUELS

In 2016, Yolanda founded Excel In Learning, a tutoring service dedicated to helping students achieve academic success. She is also a proud United States Navy veteran, serving 14 years as an Information Systems Technician before honorably separating in 2009 with the rank of Petty Officer First Class (E-6).

Yolanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems, along with both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education. 
In April 2021, she was honored as the Day of the Daughters Woman of Influence. Her writings have been featured by Rejoice Essentials Magazine, where she and her husband, Joseph, were also highlighted in a feature article in February 2021. In 2024, the couple was recognized as the Day of the Daughters Spotlight Couple of Influence.
Together, Yolanda and Joseph are dedicated to strengthening marriages and equipping believers through biblical teaching. They are the co-founders of Becoming One Flesh, a marriage ministry devoted to helping couples build Christ-centered relationships, and they are authors of the book What God Has Joined Together.

Together, Joseph and Yolanda also lead Kingdom Principles Ministries, where they teach the Word of God through live broadcasts, conferences, Bible studies, and online ministry. Yolanda additionally leads It Cost Me Everything, a ministry focused on discipleship, spiritual growth, healing, and helping believers understand the finished work of Christ.

Their ministries are featured on both the Rejoice Essential Network on Roku and Kingdom Keys Network, extending their biblical teachings to audiences around the world. Beyond ministry, they invite viewers into their everyday lives through The Samuels (Jo & Yo) YouTube channel, where they share family life, faith, travel, health journeys, and the moments that make life meaningful.

Through every platform, Yolanda's mission remains the same: to point people to Jesus Christ, strengthen marriages and families, equip believers to live according to God's Word, and encourage others to embrace the transforming power of the gospel.
